All-Micronesia Tournament September 2010

Welcome to the pages for the 18th Annual Budweiser All Micronesia Fishing Tournament. The Marshalls Billfish Club was once again honored to be hosting this regional fishing competition.

We would like to invite you to treat yourself to having a great couple of days in Majuro Atoll, Marshall Islands, doing some excellent fishing with the great local captains and their boats. This is a unique tournament in that you get to fish with local captains in their boats. Most of the boats are small, in the 20 to 25 foot range, with a few larger ones thrown in the pool. For this reason the team captains all participate in a boat drawing for each days fishing, so that all teams have an equal opportunity for the larger boats. However I will warn you that it is the smaller vessels that have been winning the tournaments all year.

I have included, in the invitation package link below, the schedule of events for this year’s tournament along with the registration form and copy of last years’ tournament results. We would like you to start completing the registration form and sending it in with the entry fee. If you are unsure at this point in time, who exactly will be coming, we will accept name changes on the entry form right up to the start of the boat drawing the night before the first day of fishing. So nothing is cast in stone apart from the fact that you will be sending someone and you have paid your money.
